At InspirEDU we inspire the future STEAM leaders. Through technology, we've had the ability to produce, innovate, and create art. So we are ramping it up a bit this year with our first ever Upcycle Tech contest. We want you to join us in using tech in a unique way by upcycling parts to make art!

How it works
Step 1: Enter the Challenge
Complete the entry form
Step 2: Create your Artwork
Ask your parents to help you find old or unused tech or tech parts around your house that you can use for this project
Use your imagination and be creative! The sky is the limit!
Step 3: Record your artwork
Create the file that you will submit to the challenge. You can take a photo of it, record a video, design animation, and more. Here are the file types that you can submit.
Image/Photo (.png, jpg, gif)
Video (.mp4, mov)
Animation (.mp4, gif)
Presenation (.ppt, .pptx)
Document (.doc, .docx, .pdf)
Step 4: Submit Your Artwork
Upload your artwork files by 11:59 PM on April 27, 2021. All winners will be contacted by April 30, 2021
We Can Help you with the Parts But You have to bring the Art!
We welcome all students in the state of Georgia to participate in our upcycle challenge. You can utilize parts from any technology device. Please handle parts with care.
No Parts No Worries
We can provide you the chance to come to our warehouse and pick up computer parts if necessary. Our warehouse is located in Atlanta and pickup is by appointment only. Unfortunately, we are unable to mail parts boxes. They must be picked up from our warehouse
Prizes
The Part2Art Youth Upcycling Challenge will present three winners:
Elementary - Kindergarten - 5th Grade
Middle School - 6th - 8th Grade
High School - 9th - 12th Grade
Each winner will receive an Amazon Gift card and their artwork will be on display at the Inspiredu Office!
RULES & IMPORTANT items TO REMEMBER
All applicants must be residents of the state of Georgia to qualify for the winning prizes
Projects must be submitted by 11:59 PM on April 27th
We highly recommend that Parents/Caregivers monitor children when creating ART projects using technology hardware and parts
Children should MAKE SURE they have parents permission before taking apart any technology device
