Board Insights: Nathalie Charlot
Q. As an Inspiredu board member, what are you most excited about?
As a board member, I am excited about the lives that are being transformed by the mission of Inspiredu. The commitment to making a positive impact on underserved families by bridging the digital divide and opening doors to higher education is commendable.
Q. What is your current job and what does it involve?
I run the Test Management Office (TMO) in IT Services at NCR. The TMO governs the test management processes across the IT organization by applying suitable testing strategies, testing tools & process improvements, and test optimizations at the program or application level, to measure and improve the quality of the product delivery. The TMO organization plans, develops, and directs the quality and test management policies for the ITS programs and ensures quality standards are satisfied.
Q. What is a day like in the life of Nathalie?
My day starts at 5 am to review my upcoming meetings or appointments (if any). My family and I do our morning prayers before we begin the workday. I use my lunchtime to exercise and do either cardio or resistance training. Head back to work and end my day around 6 pm for dinner or an evening event.
Q. How do you relate to Inspiredu’s mission, values, and/or work.
Inspiredu’s mission touches the lives of thousands of underserved children while providing digital learning opportunities to their parents, empowering them to better support their children. When parents are equipped with the necessary digital resources and support, there’s a stronger school/parent partnership. Education is the lifeline of any child and Inspiredu’s movement of bridging the digital divide ensures that no children are left behind.
