Donate2Educate with Earth month
This year, we had a very successful Earth Month. We partnered with Jackson Healthcare, AT&T, Genuine Parts, Rollins, and Georgia Pacific to coordinate corporate donations of tech equipment, as well as collect them from the community through E-drives. Here's a rundown of some of our most exciting initiatives:
We kicked off the month with our very first E-drive at Advocate. AT&T hosted weekly e-drives at their campus for their employees to give back. Even the students at Woodward Academy North collected tech devices from their classmates and teachers!
Our volunteers from Georgia Pacific and Salesforce refurbished computers for upcoming distributions and we trained over 150 parents and provided them with the essential devices needed to support education at home.
Our final event was our annual advisory board E-drive at Fire Maker Brewing Company. Our team was ecstatic by the number of donations we received—we had to make multiple van drop-offs of tech equipment!
