Our feature on The Kelly Clarkson Show

We were thrilled to appear on The Kelly Clarkson Show in April 2024 as a nominee for Good Neighbor of the Year, and we are so grateful for the additional exposure that Inspiredu’s mission has received after the show aired. It was truly an incredible experience!

Local news anchor Lori Wilson from WSB-TV, who nominated us as a Good Neighbor, was equally excited to join our CEO Richard Hicks on set. As we prepared our Adult Digital Literacy workshop on the same day to be featured live on The Kelly Clarkson Show, our team couldn't contain their excitement. We eagerly informed our participants that they would not only receive free laptops and digital skills training that day, but they would also appear on The Kelly Clarkson Show!

Our team executed the workshop flawlessly, and being on location at The Bridge Academy in College Park with Karen Greer of WSB-TV added to the excitement. The recognition on a major TV platform was a source of immense joy for us, validating our mission to promote digital inclusion. Having the Rowland family, whom we had previously assisted, share their story on the show further underscored the impact of our work.

The energy was palpable, and the days following the live airing were filled with celebration. Our phones were buzzing, and our inboxes flooded with emails expressing interest in digital access, volunteering, and partnerships. The importance of our work and its tangible impact on lives through technology and education shone brightly.

The importance of digital equity in shaping the future for children, families, and learners cannot be overstated.  Our commitment to serving all of Georgia to empower individuals through technology remains steadfast, but we recognize that it's a significant undertaking.
