Reflecting on our 2024 Town Hall Series with Comcast and RICE

As we expand and foster digital equity in our community through strategic partnerships with industry leaders like Comcast and the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs (RICE), we recognize the immense potential and support available for entrepreneurs. Our second town hall of the year, held at Comcast’s Central Division and Big South Region headquarters at The Battery in Atlanta, was a significant step in empowering small businesses and entrepreneurs.

At Inspiredu, our mission aligns closely with community-focused companies such as Comcast, who are deeply invested in local development. Through initiatives like Comcast RISE, we encourage our partners to advance their businesses through technology and education. Comcast RISE was a pivotal focus of our town hall, offering attendees the opportunity to apply for grants that include business consultations, educational resources, a $5,000 grant, creative production assistance, media exposure, and technology upgrades.

For the first time, we introduced a marketplace where small businesses and entrepreneurs showcased their services, providing valuable information to attendees.

Joined by the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs (RICE), the Urban League of Greater Atlanta, the Latin American Association, Village Micro Fund, and Prospera, we are committed to nurturing our partnerships with Comcast RISE grant recipients. We were inspired by their stories and the impactful work they are undertaking.
