Our relationship began with Hylaine after long-time supporter, Tamara, and client engagement executive at Hylaine made the introduction. She says she sees such importance in the mission to bring youth and families access to compete and hopefully level the playing field and make it more equitable. The pandemic showed that even more.

The program was an hour-long held through the Meta “engineer of the week program.” The students had to think through prototypes and stats about various products. The products had to have a purpose and solve community issues like traffic, homelessness, hunger etc.

It’s been over 2 years since we’ve actually been able to go into classrooms to teach digital skills based workshops called our Family Learning Workshops. However, in rural communities like Jasper, the need for access is major and we are happy to be back in person to support them.
