At Inspiredu, the primary goal of the tech team focuses on repurposing and recycling devices with prior use – a process we like to regard as refurbishing previously enjoyed equipment. Those refurbished devices are thoroughly reviewed, and if they are salvageable, they enable our team to bridge the digital divide we readily see throughout our communities.

Jasper County: Expanding our reach

Just last month, we had the opportunity to serve families in the Jasper charter community, along with Meta, and had great success. It’s been over 2 years since we’ve actually been able to go into classrooms to teach digital skills based workshops called our Family Learning Workshops. However, in rural communities like Jasper, the need for access is major and we are happy to be back in person to support them.
