Board Highlight: Derold McIver

  Leveraging the use of technology for the underserved Youth and their families to bridge the digital and employment divide dovetails into my personal ethos of service, I can’t think of a better place or team to do it with.

 Q.  As a Inspiredu board member, what are you most excited about? 

I am excited about the future of Inspiredu , it’s growth potential and all of the families we are going to be able to assist across Georgia bridge the technology divide.

 Q. What is your current job and what does it involve? 

Currently a Senior Vice President of Community Development for Truist bank,  Responsible for Lending , Service and Investments in low to moderate income communities across Northern Georgia and Northern Alabama.

 Q.  What is a day like in the life of Derold? 

LOL, I so laughed when I saw this , I was up at 2am trying to get caught up on  work emails so that I could make all  my community meetings the next day along with my internal meetings.  A day in my life is passionate, long and never boring.  I am blessed because I get to serve and blessed is the Man or Woman that gets to serve.
