Board Highlight: Tracy Kubaszewski

 I’ve been on the Inspiredu Advisory Board for the past couple of years and just recently passed the baton on for the Chair position to Rachel Daniel, who is doing an outstanding job! As a current at-large board member, it’s been an absolute pleasure being involved with an organization I love that is doing so much for our community and has continued to grow in more ways than ever before. I’m most excited about seeing that growth continue and watching the Volunteer and Training Center convert into a more functional space to serve our community.

Board Highlight: Bre Pittman

 I'm excited to stay informed about the inspiring work carried out by the Inspiredu staff. Through my involvement on the advisory board, I've gained insights into the digital divide and its far-reaching effects, both locally in Atlanta and especially in rural communities where accessing technology is a significant challenge. Collaborating directly with the Inspiredu team, I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute towards providing devices to underserved students and adults. Even if my role as a board member impacts just one person, I believe it is worthwhile.

Our first Adult Digital Literacy workshop of 2023

Every other month, adult learners seeking to improve their children’s academic success or add digital literacy to their career skills are invited to attend and, by doing so, earn a refurbished laptop for their household. Throughout the course, participants gain valuable computer and software skills and learn how to use technology in everyday life.
